About Alex and Kawaii-Boo

Where it began

Alex Baysinger has loved Asian pop culture since childhood. It started with Hello Kitty and everything kawaii, then grew to include K-pop, anime and manga.

Why a shop

Living in Corpus Christi, Alex noticed there was nowhere for fans of these things to shop. Surely other people in town felt the same way, so Kawaii-Boo was born.

Who it’s for

Whether you love BTS, Dragon Ball Z or just really cute things, the idea is simple: have it all in one friendly place.

Come meet the shelves, and say hi.

Kawaii-Boo is Booth 733 in the Corpus Christi Trade Center, 2833 S Padre Island Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78415.
